1 (15oz) can salt-free chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans), strained and rinsed well
1/2 apple, cored and chopped
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
2 tablespoons dill relish
2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon kelp granules
Ground black pepper to taste
- Pulse the chickpeas in a food processor or blender just until coarsely chopped.
- Transfer into a medium-sized bowl and add in the apple, celery, pecans, relish, red onion, dill, lemon juice, and kelp granules. Stir well until combines.
- Season with pepper and chill until ready to serve, and don't forget to enjoy!
